I got back from spending five days with my family in Calistoga which is in Napa Valley. Every year we go to the hot springs and the place we go to has three pools so its really cool. On Saturday we're driving back to Portland...
My birthday is one week from today!!! =] This year its on a Thursday.
Today we went to this candy store in Lafeyette and I got this little plastic Hello Kitty full of candy hearts ^ ^ Its really cute.

So I'm in California right now visiting family. Going to San Francisco today!!! I know thats gonnna be the best part cause I'm gonnna go to Japan Town.
Tomorrow we're all going to Calistoga for five nights, something that we've done every year since I was about four. I didnt get to go the first year because I became ill with appendecitis... :( (i know i spelled it wrong, dont care)

Last night I watched Premonition. It was really weird and very confusing to follow. And it was scary.

I walked an adorable dog today named Rhett on my first day of Jr aide training at the Humane Society. He's really cool and I wish I could take him home... He's a coonhound.

I saw UP yesterday. It was really good (just like all the other Pixar movies)! The animals were really cool but I wont give anything away.
SES has got to be the most amazing school I have ever attended. Our 8th grade class has become so close. And it's not just the 8th grade class, but the whole middle school thats close. We just had the last dance of the year and it was full of tears and hugs. People that hardly knew each other were hugging! It's not gonna be the same in high school. There wont be the same sense of community and nobody's gonna understand all the Sunnyside jokes! Plus I know that the teachers will never be as cool as the ones at SES!
[Ugh I've got alot of mosquito bites! Its driving me nuts!] I'm even going to miss the people that I didnt like very much... =\ Gah I dont want it to be summer! I want to go to school tomorrow!
School got out at 11:30 am today so I got home really early. I realized how much I wanted to be back at school because I was really bored and had nothing to do! [AHHHH the mosquito bites are so itchy!!!!!]

I know I'm gonna go to Powell's books alot this summer! I can't stay away from that place for too long... And of course I'm going to California cause we must go there multiple times each year. [still itchy]

Day 983 of my captivity...
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets.?
Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now ..

i just learned what insomnia is. the name sounds so cool and creepy. but it would suck to have it.
School is out in nine days (seven if you dont count the weekend). Its so sad!!!! I'm gonna have to wear sunglasses on the last day cause I'm gonna be crying so much. =[ But I also cant wait for summer!!!! No more homework!!!! I still need to finish my eighth grade portfolio...ugh.

I just came back from the best school trip ever!!!! I went to Catalina Island for five days. I loved it!!!! I got back at about 8:45 and I'm really tired. I did alot of things that scared me like rock climbing and the high ropes course but it was all soooo awesome! I was even better than outdoor school and thats saying alot in my opinion. I wish we could stay for another week. It went by way too fast. ...I didnt tan at all... I just got alot of sunburns...

I just learned that my friend's dog died last night...=[
Her name was Harley and I've know that dog since I was in fourth grade... It's really depressing cause Harley's mom Sarah died last year... So now Harley's puppy Coco is all alone.
On a happier note, I'm gonna dye my hair pink again!
This is who I'm gonna be this Halloween...and yes I know its kind of early to be thinking about it. But it shall be awesome!
My speech is on Wednesday but I'm actually not that nervous about it... I dont really like what I wrote tho...
