so at the begining of the year our first writting assignment was to write a poem about ourselves... this is what i wrote...

Random Autobiography

When I was 4
I went into surgery
Appendicitis
I can still remember the pain

I have ridden a horse
Up a big mountain
Over slippery mud and rocks

I have been boating on Lake Oswego
Speeding through the water
The wind in my hair

I have adopted two kittens
Small in my hands
Still new to the world

I have been to the Oregon Caves
Marveling at the beautiful sights
While freezing cold water
Soaked through my shoes

I have been berry picking
Eating most of them
Almost none made it into the bucket

I've come home
To find a dog in the living room
Small, white and fluffy
"His name is Happy"
Dad told me

I have laughed with my friends
So hard that
It hurt to breath afterwards

I have jumped off a high up rock
A shock went through my body
As I fell into the cold river below

I have been in the world
For 14 years
